Part II: Porter and our Partners
We at Porter held our 1st RnR in Ahmedabad! Our 5-star performing partner here is Amrutbhai P Patel who attached his truck to Porter about 6 months back. Smiling gladly at the event he said, “When you work with someone, there should be complete integrity and harmony, only then can you prosper. My hard work will translate into Porter’s success which will, in turn, result in mine. That is the circle of life,” he said. “I give my best at work, stay loyal and only take trips through Porter so that I grow with the company. My success is as much a reflection of me as it is of this company”.
Siddheshwara B, our bumper prize winner from Bangalore became a partner and started using the Porter driver app less than a year back. Today thanks to his commitment he became the top performer! Overwhelmed with joy he shared, “Getting a bike was always the plan but I was unable to manage due to budget restrictions. Now I can finally give my wife a gift she deserves. I have not been able to give her anything since our one year of marriage. This is the sweetest gift, a result of my hard work and partnership with a good company. Thanks to Porter, I am financially stable enough to put in place plans to start my own fleet of vehicles in a few years. I am confident business will be good with Porter and I will save enough to fulfil all of mine and my family’s dreams soon.”
The top performer from Hyderabad Dharmendra attached his vehicle to the Porter platform a year back. His wholehearted dedication to giving his best irrespective of the situation helped him win the Hyderabad RnR. At the event, he shared, “I am overjoyed to win the bumper prize. I am planning to give the bike to my children. It was always my dream to buy my children a bike. I am thankful to Porter for helping me fulfil this dream of mine. I thank Porter and promise to always give my best to the company, now and forever,” he added.
Porter has also become India’s first logistics company to introduce full online onboarding for vehicle owners. This means that the drivers can install the Porter partner app from the play store, enter their personal details, complete the training by watching the videos on the app and get onboard as a partner.
Porter has also recently introduced Porter Wallet and Freelance Model for the benefit of the driver partners. The Porter wallet is a virtual wallet that helps the drivers keep track of payments as well as gives them the convenience to use their money from anywhere and at any time.
The Porter Freelance Model has many advantages including giving the driver partners the flexibility to work from anywhere and from any area of their choice for as many hours as they want to with zero penalties.
The events included felicitation, food, fun and family. It was held across all the cities beginning with an inaugural speech followed by the presentation of hundreds of awards; team games, photo booths and delicious food available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options with beverages.
It was attended by all our partners, Pan India, again supported in great numbers by their friends and family. The event, we can safely conclude was a grand success, warmly appreciated by partners and their families alike. It was the place where many dreams came true and wishes were fulfilled. We will continue to cherish and uphold our partner family in the same manner by holding many more such events in the future. Does family ever deserve anything less than the best?!
